Clam chowder á la maredis
Ingredients
2 slices of bacon, chopped1 garlic clove, chopped 1 chopped onion 5 large potatoes, diced 4 tsp butter 4 tsp flour 4dl/15 ozs milk 4dl/15 ozs cream 2dl/7 ozs Maredis clam broth 200g Maredis clam meat croutons Fry the bacon a little and put to the side. Melt the butter and fry the garlic and onion until it is golden. Add the flour, and then the diced potatoes, broth and milk. Stir well. Let the soup come to a boil and cook until the potatoes are done, or for approx. 10 minutes. Add the cream and let the soup come to a boil once more. Spice with salt and pepper.
